Since FY2014, Fukuyama City has been engaged in a “Green Curtain Enlightenment Project” as part of the global warming countermeasures project “Scrum Fukuyama ☆ Eco Try.” The purpose of the photo contest is to further promote everyday global warming countermeasures that can be carried out by families and businesses.

• Title : “Goya Life”
• Effect of installation :
  Installation of a green curtain and flowers in the flower bed of a rest area made it possible for all employees and visitors to enjoy exchanges while feeling “coolness” with the five senses, in addition to peace and spiritual healing.
• Impressions :
  Reflecting on the experience of last year, two types of goya were planted (one type with many leaves, one type which produces much fruit). This made it possible to obtain both a shading effect from the sun and the pleasure of harvesting the goya fruit. The “goya curtain” also played an ample role as a tool for communications in the workplace.

The flowers and green curtain are well-matched, and the photograph communicates a feeling of coolness. This is a beautiful green curtain which also has an effect as a means of communication.
