Performance Comparison Tests of NF Board® Reveal New Product Features

NF Board®, which is manufactured by JFE Plastic Resource, is a recycled plastic board which is made from waste plastic discharged by households.

In a study of potential applications of NF Board®, performance comparison tests (cleanliness, antibacterial property, impact resistance) were carried out. Here, we would like to report the new features which were discovered.

  • Can be expected to maintain cleanliness.
  • Can be expected to cushion impact if struck.
Bacterial Growth/Washing Test

NF：Antibacterial action is expected, and can be expected to keep cleanliness because its original clean condition can be restored by washing.

Drop Weight Impact Test

NF：Cushions impact if struck, and can be expected to survive impact undamaged.
