The "Environmental Communication Awards" is a commendation system for the purpose of encouraging environmental communication efforts by companies and others by commending excellent environmental reports, etc., environmental activity reports and television environmental commercial messages, and improving the quality of those efforts.

JFE Plastic Resource Corporation submitted its CSR/Environmental Report 2013, which was published in FY 2013, as an entry for this Award. The Award was given in recognition of the Company's supply of environment-friendly products such as NF Board^®, recycled plastic pellets, corporate activities and efforts in communication with the region and administrative authorities, which include exhibitions, plant tours, were highly evaluated, and the Environmental Report summarizing those efforts.
